Layering is one of my favorite ways to make an outfit interesting, and as a bonus, it also maximizes versatility within your wardrobe. While you'll probably never hear me complain about the hot summer sunshine, I find summer dressing to be the most boring of the four seasons because layering is just not practical during that time of year. Fall fashion is so much more exciting, don't you think?
This eclectic ensemble draws inspiration from preppy menswear and an equestrian aesthetic. While the denim vest has been a fun addition to my closet, the real wardrobe workhorses here are the cabled sweater, striped shirt, and tall boots.
