Time for another refashion tutorial! You don't even need sewing skills for this one, and it's super quick!
- a longer cardigan with a flared/fan hem
- a small, strong snap - either hammer-on or sew-on
- needle and matching thread (if you choose to sew on your snap)
Before you begin, make sure that the front ends of your cardigan can meet comfortably behind your neck while you're wearing it.
Use the diagram above to determine where to place your snap. Use a marking pencil to pinpoint locations, of necessary.
Attach each half of the snap to the front corners of the cardigan. At this point, you should be able to join these two ends behind your neck to change the look of the sweater.
Play around with it! I typically wear my sweater either long or short, but I could also tie it in the front, or cross the ends in front of me before fastening them around my neck. So many possibilities! How would you style it?
