Shopping can be a very self-focused activity. You have your list, and you're there to purchase what you need/want. The thing is, it's also a very public activity that plunges you into a social environment and often forces you to interact with others, whether directly or indirectly.
Here's a thought: what if we bought into the radical notion that shopping as an activity can be used not only to serve ourselves, but to serve others as well?
What would you add to or subtract from this list? I'd love to hear your tips!
