SPRING TRANSITION PIECES

Today I'm linking up with Caitlin from Greater Than Rubies and other bloggers to share pieces that help transition your wardrobe into spring, and in honor of the rainy weather, my featured piece is a pair of rain boots :)

If this is your first time visiting this link up, the basic premise is encouraging one another to make the most of our wardrobes and find new ways to wear pieces that we already have. You don't have to own a ton of clothing or go shopping every other week to dress stylishly!

I avoided buying rain boots for the longest time until I saw these lovelies being sold secondhand on eBay last fall. Now that I finally own a pair, I really wish I had bought some sooner! Campus has gotten pretty soggy, so they are perfect for a long and wet trek to class. Also, they give me a much-needed break from my fall and winter boots, which I am more than ready to pack away.

I love the print on these boots, but it's very sweet and girly, so I typically try to balance my outfit by adding something edgy or menswear-inspired. In this instance, I donned my trusty leather jacket.

What are your favorite transitional pieces for spring?

Thank you for reading!
